Clearly fun…
Sigh….still no modem! I’m so glad I had this design already uploaded into an unpublished blog post as it gives me something to share with you today. Trying to work on-line from another computer without my files is just not fun! But I had to check in anyway sooooo…..
Wow…you just don’t know how much you rely on the internet until you can’t access it! I’m missing you all!
I had so much fun making this card! No stamping on it but that’s OK sometimes…right? I had these new Cosmo Cricket Rub-ons to try out and they really seemed to go well with the look of the design. I have this Transparency Quote Stack by Die Cuts with a View. So fun! I just love transparencies and this quote wonderful! I’m blessed to have a lot of wonderful friends that support me and help me be my best….well, I’m still working on that part.
Genuine Friend
This design uses the 6×6 Romani Paper pack from Basic Grey. I used various patterned papers and inked their edges with Pumpkin Pie ink. I love the fun pink and orange color combo. So fresh and fun!
To use the transparency, I brushed some white paint behind the transparency to help make the quote stand out. To attach it I stitched along the top and adhere it under the friends paper strip. The same paper is used to form a little tab near the top left to draw attention to the little rub-on sentiment there. Have you ever tried rub-ons? I love stamping but they make a fun change and I love all the different surfaces you can apply them to!

Beautiful card! I’m so glad you got to check in today! And I hope your computer problem is fixed soon! Gotta have the modem!
Great card! Yeah, my husband teases me about how much time I spend on the internet. He asked me just last night “don’t you ever get sick of looking at blogs so much”…ummmm…NO!

Hi Julia, Sorry about your modem troubles; hope the new one arrives PDQ! I love this card; this is one of my favorite color combos; I think that quote came from the stack I bought recently; need to put it to use! TFS!

My internet was down tonight for about 4 hours, and I just about went nuts. I know exactly how you feel. Glad your back up now!
