The Sketches….
I’m not sure if you’ve noticed…I’ve been including little sketches along with some of my designs to share with you. I had the question asked…can anyone use them? Absolutely! That is why I shared them! Actually…I think I’ll stop making them if no one does! LOL They ARE a little added work. So…..if you use one of my sketches…I’d be thrilled! If you want, go back to that entry, leave me a link to your project using it and I’ll come visit.
You’ll have to be patient with me though…I’m really swamped right now. LOL I thought back to school would bring me MORE time and not LESS! Last night I spent TWO hours helping with high school Math review sheets!
I’ve included a new category on my blog, Julia’s Sketches, to make it easier for you to find them. Just under the title of this entry, you’ll see the various categories for this entry…click on Julia’s Sketches to find the entries that include a sketch. If I do get enough interest generated by this, I’ll consider doing a weekly sketch challenge. Let me know what you think!
I’m trying to make this blog a little more interactive.
Feel free to enlarge the sketches by clicking on them to make viewing them easier. You can also print them out if you wish for your own personal (not professional) use.
Have a fabulous day! I’ll be back later on with another Design.

Julia, you’re awesome! Thanks for the sketches and for sharing them with all of us!
I love sketches, and I’d love more time to play with all of them!!! Even if I don’t get to them right away, I save them so I can find them later!!! Thanks!
Yah! That is great of you to share your sketches! I’ll definitely use them. I’m with you, thought back to school would mean MORE ME stamping time…unfortunately with all the volunteering I do at the school, it has meant a lot less…ugh!
I think the sketches are very useful. I think a weekly sketch challenge would be lots of fun!
Please, please, please keep the sketches coming. They’re fantastic.
Thanks for sharing your sketches! I will take you up on that offer.
Julia, This is so neat for you to share your sketches with us. I have printed out these three to keep in my stamp room and when I upload a card to SCS I will let you know and hopefully be able to link you to it. I hope it was okay for me to print them. My computer is another room! Please keep on making these sketches and I will be sure to watch for them. Thanks.
Eleanor
Oooh, what a cool addition, Julia! I’ve come to appreciate sketches in a new light these recent months. I just admire your work so!

Thanks for providing the sketches, and please keep adding them to your posts. I love your cards and your blog–I’m a daily visitor. I’ve saved hundreds of cards to my computer HD just so I would have an idea to pull out to try later. Have I done that?—no. With your sketch so readily available, there’s no reason now not to use the ideas. Your beautiful stitched cards have inspired me to try sewing on paper. I’ve done dressmaking/quilting for over 40 years so I’m branching out with my skills. I’ve been pleased so far with the results of my cards. Nothing like yours, of course, but I really am inspired by your work.
Love the sketches! Hoping to find some time to stamp this weekend since it’s my birthday and DH will be out of town!
THANK you so much for the sketches! I am a novice and need all the helps I can find.
Is there any book or website that may have LOTS of sketches in one place?
God bless you dear lady
