November Papercrafts

Ooohhhh texture! I just love texture! Especially this time of year…warm cozy sweaters, all that harvest product… I love any product that makes you want to reach out and touch it. Paper Crafts magazine has a great article on texture in the upcoming November magazine and this card is one of the designs. I had so much fun adding stitching, ribbon, textured paper, a gorgeous velvet brad and the coolest textured chipboard together for this vintage card design.     Beautiful card, Julia. The flower looks wonderful, and I have been eyeing those velvet brads (Making Memories, right?) ever since I saw them in preview pictures of CHA on blogs. I love texture on cards; I’ll have to check out the article. Thanks for sharing.

    Wow! I have one sheet of that gorgeous background paper I’ve been hoarding, but once I can get my hands on some velvet brads, I may have to attempt to replicate this idea! You are such an inspiration to us!!!
