Trust me - this is great glue BUT if it gets clogged - do not squeeze the bottle to try and unclog it - the top will blow off and your face will be covered in white glue! Lucky for me - I was wearing my glasses so I did not have to try and get it out my eyelashes - just my hair!

Hi,

I am trying to stick a paper CD sleeve to the inside back cover of my PhD thesis and want to use glue. However, I need a glue that will dry clear, will not run, and will remain flexible when dry so that the two bound materials can still bend together. I saw this particular glue at my local bookstore. Does it fulfill these requirements?

Regards,
Adrian

What about diluting it somewhat by dipping a stiff brush in water so you can spread it completely on the back of a paper image for decoupage? When I decoupage, I need the entire back of the paper covered, not just the edges.

Please feel free to email me with reply. I had some glue stick not hold and I'm trying this Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive instead, but I did thin it a bit with the wet brush and covered the entire back of the paper. It dries a bit too fast for me. I still have to wait and see if it holds for me.

Nice to see all the good comments! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that what I did will work. I had another glue I was using before on cards and tags but they curl and I have to iron them afterwards to flatten them.

Some people have recommended Mod Podge but it makes the paper bubble. Have never cared for it. Anyone else?

Thanks! Diane

I bought some of this when I was making those big paperclip bookmarks. I will have to pull it out again. Thanks for the reminder!

I love the glue also.... I second or third or fourth everyones opinion - if the glue is clogged don't squeeze it within an inch of it's life - if will "explode" on your projects. the other thing that I have found is it DOES leave glue lines if you use it with glossy paper - I go back to my tape runner for glossy paper projects. Also - I only buy the smaller bottle - I find I use all the glue before it has a chance to "get boogers".

Have a great day!
