Do you know if the Tonic can cut thin acrylic? I'm definitely in the market for guillotine - have too may rotaries and they have their flaws. My best and longest lasting was my original 12 inch Fiskars before rotary came along. It's still going strong, but I need something with a bit more umph...Thanks!

I have a Guillotine type Paper Cutter with a Deco cutting edge. I would like to buy another one but I am having great difficulty finding one. The only Deco cutting edge cutter I can find are the rotary ones.
Do you make a Guillotine type cutter with any type of edge other than a straight edge ? If not, do you know where I might find one ?

Thank you for your help!

I was doing some research tonight and I happened on your blog. I just wanted to say I am very impressed with you Julia and the wonderful following you have. Obviously you are doing something very right here. I would have never expected to see so many responses to a blog post about a paper cutter!

I forgot to mention that the reason I was asking is because in cutting 2-3 12x12 card stock paper I sometimes get a frayed edge towards the bottom of the paper. I've only had my cutter about 2 months.

Is the guillotine blade for the 12x12 Tonic replaceable? If not how can I keep it sharp? I think I read that it was self sharpening??

I am thinking of getting a new paper cutter for 12×12 papers. I don’t run into my CM rep anymore and the blades just don’t

last long enough for me. Unlike the smaller CM personal paper cutter. That is just wonderful. I have had it for years and it

still works great. So hurray that you found one to work nicely for you! I’ll add it to my list of possibilities
