Belles Bonbons - 100K and counting….
Yay! It is Friday of the Canada Day Long weekend! It is time for more celebrating! I reached 100,000 hits on my blog earlier in the week. It is going to be a super busy weekend for me so I thought I’d wait and post it today instead!
I thought I’d do something a little different for this blog giveaway. Two prizes this time and the winners get to choose!
Thought you’d like that! Two $20.00 gift certificates from Jacksonbelle Embellishments are up for grabs!
If you are one of the winners you get one of the gift certificates to buy whatever fun goodies you wish. You’ll probably already know that I buy a TON of cool stuff there all the time. And Jacksonbelle has the new cool Basic Grey Infuse line in! (Mine is already on the way.) My other favorites there….hmmmmm….Primas, Basic Grey, May Arts ribbon, Cosmo Cricket, Daisy D’s, Lizzie Anne Designs & Fancy Pants to name a few! LOL I keep giving Lindsey a list of what she needs to sell!
I just may be her best customer!
So….here’s the deets!
- One winner will be chosen by a random number generator from comments posted on THIS entry. I’d love to know how long you’ve been stamping, if you have any questions or (LOL) tell me if I’m getting too “wordy” with my posts.
All suggestions are welcome! - The other winner will be chosen at random from my list of Feedblitz subscribers.
If you wish to sign up, you can click on the orange Feedblitz button near the top of my sidebar (left side of my blog). If you use Google reader, that is fabulous, but I have no way of drawing your name with that unfortunately. Feel free to sign up for Feedblitz if you wish and then unsubscribe. I’ll totally understand.
These Belles Bonbons are open until 9pm EST Monday, July 2nd. Sometime thereafter (as soon as I’m able) I’ll draw the two names and post them to my blog. Good luck! Thanks so much for supporting me these past few months and for visiting my blog!
You guys rock! {{{{{{{{{{friends}}}}}}}}}}
Edited to add… LOL Didn’t realize I’d put in so many smilies into one post!

Congratulations on all of the hits! And Happy Canada Day, eh!!!
Julia… I love your blog. I rarely get to post a comment bc most of the time I’m reading while holding my baby son
I don’t think you are too wordy at all…I enjoy your cards and love that you link all the things you use so I can easily check them out. Thanks for such a great bon bon offer.
I love your blog Julia! You also create beautiful things!! Thanks for the opportunity for some awesome blog candy!
Your blog is awesome! Keep up the great work! I just want to keep seeing your awesome stuff!
Love your blog! I visit every day. Great Bonbons! I’ve been stamping about ten years.
Oh Julia your blog is AWESOME! I just love all the things that you come up with… very inspiring.
Your cards are so beautiful Julia! You certainly inspire me and I check back here often
I grew up in a small country town in Australia (Greetings from Australia BTW!!) and my mum always had a craft box for us to play with which included stamps. We stamped my sister’s wedding invitations back in 1992 and it was my job to run to the toaster to do the embossing, I don’t think there were heat guns in Australia back then! I probably seriously started stamping in 1998 when I was in year 11 (senior high) and my friends loved getting handmade cards and I loved making them! It has been very hard to wait for Australia to catch up on all the trends, actually it has been painfully slow! We just got Stampin Up here last year for example, so ebay has certainly been SO GOOD for us too! It is my main source for stamping stuff. Postage to Australia is a bit of a killer though!
As for how long I have been stamping… It’s about 15yrs now. Lol! And I’m only 25
Hope you found my story interesting!
Hey Julia, Love visiting your blog, I don’t think it is too wordy at all, love to hear what you have to say. I’ve been stamping for 3years or so.
Congrats!!!
I love seeing your cards! So pretty.
Julia it is so inspiring to see what you are going to do next! I love your work. I have been a Stampin’Up! demonstrator for 10 years and stamping for almost 11. Thanks for the opportunity to play!
Lesa
OOO, Yum! Bon Bons!!!
I have been stamping for about 3 years…scrapped a year before that. I love your blog…and I do Not think you are too wordy!
I believe that I have been stamping for over 10 years now. Though I often find that
I don’t have “just the right stamp”, I have accumulated 1 000 over time. They just keep getting better and better. Love reading your blog with every new entry.
Wow! What AWESOME blog candy! I really enjoy reading your posts. I have you on my Google Reader, so I never accidently miss something. I’ll have to subscribe too… just in case I’m lucky this time!
Julia, congrats on the 100K! I enjoy reading your blog and try to do so on a daily basis. I have only been stamping about a year.
Hello! I’m already a subscriber! I’ve been stamping for 6 years. I love it! My question for you: have you ever bought any craft item that you regretted? I want to know so I don’t make the same mistake! Thanks!
lol - the smilies are awesome, I noticed them right away. I’ve been stamping for over 5 years and this has been my favorite year so far because I branched out the most 7 started to blog (how fun)! I think your posts are not wordy - they are INFORMATIVE, there’s a difference *love your blog*

Congrats on all the hits………..that’s awesome, and oh so much better to have a long weekend. You have an awesome blog and I subscribe through google so I can get immediate updates. Thanks for always sharing such wonderful work .
I love, love, LOVE your blog! I check it everyday. I have been stamping for 2 1/2 years and can’t get enough. I’m so glad you share your talent with everyone! You are such an inspiration.
You rock! I was just looking at your “authority” through Technorati…holy crow, you have over 600+ links to you! Awesome!
Hi Julia,
I just love your blog. I’ve been stamping about 4 years. I learn something new all the time. There’s so much to do and so many varieties of styles, etc.. I just love it!
Chris Hauck
Julia, you are seriously sweet! I am subscribed too.
I started stamping October 2000. I was a bit overwhelmed at the first SU party I attended and only bought a stamp set to decorate DH’s envelopes (he deployed to Bosnia at the time.) After volunteering to coordinate stamping 425 Christmas cards for his battalion I was hooked and became a demo in April 2001.
No, I don’t think you are too wordy. Heck, look at what I wrote just telling you how long I’ve been stamping. LOL!
Fun blog! I have been stamping for about 4 years. I started in a stampin’ up club which I am still a member. I have just recently started buying things from other companies. In fact, reading blogs like yours has cost me quite a bit of money. You’re not getting too wordy and I kind of like all of the smiley faces. Thanks!
I enjoy your blog & stop by everytime my google reader updates me. I don’t think you are getting too wordy at all. Besides, it’s your blog which is like an online journal and somedays we all have lots to say and somedays we’re quiet. I think it’s great how you explain how you did the card, who the stamp is by, etc. I’ve been stamping for about 2 yrs now and the addiction is continuing to grow. All I know is my WANT list is growing by visiting all these blogs. Thanks for a chance to win some awesome blog candy. Have a great weekend!
I have been stamping for two years but within the last 4 months have reallly gotten in to it. I love reading what you have to say for me it’s not just about the cards.
Hi Julia, I check your blog everyday but this is the first time I post a comment. I’m a really new stamper, because rubberstamping isn’t known in my country (Chile) and I just discovered it while browsing, on Aug. 2006 or so
Hi Julia!
Congratulations on 100K!!!
I have been stamping for about 3 years. I come to your blog frequently for inspiration and instruction. I think you’re doing a great job. No wonder you have over 100K hits!
What fabulous bonbons Julia! On a side note I am so happy to be joining the Craft Critique ranks with all of you wonderful ladies! Can’t wait to get started!
Now, to when I started stamping. It has been about years ago. I went to a SU party my hubby’s cousin was having and I told him I was just going to socialize. Ha! Little did I know that would start a torrid love affair with such wonderful rubber! Wait a second, I am still talking about stamps, right?!
Wow! Congrats on hitting 100,000 hits! That’s amazing!
You really do deserve it, your work is gorgeous and your blog is awesome. Thanks for sharing!!
Hi julia,
I would love a gift certificate! Congrats on your milestone and thank you for all the inspiration. My question is what is your favorite NEW stamp set from the NEW catalog? I’m thinking pick a petal is it for me.
frannyb
Ohhh ahhh…Congrats!
I have been Stamping for about 4 1/2 years & I have been a Stampin’ Up! demo for just over 3 years…loving it.
I think your blog is delightful and is always full of wonderful ideas and creations. I admire your work so much and am proud to be a fellow-Canadian. I have family close by and feel like I know a celebrity!
Julia,
Love your tutorials. I have been stamping about 7 years. I would love one day to be half as good as some of you talented ladies whose blogs I read every day!
Robbie
Congratulations on hitting 100,000! What a great accomplishment. I have been stamping for 7 years and am about as bad as it will get being a die hard stamper. I think your tutorials are fantastic and keep writing what you are writing! Happy Canada Day!!!!
I love your blog! It is great! You have so many cute ideas!
Katie
Hi Julia; I’ve been stamping for 18 yrs….it’s a great hobby and stress reliever! I enjoy your blog so much as I find it very informative and interesting (truly enjoy C’est Bon…bought the Sakura Quickie because of it). Thank you for sharing your wonderful creations. Thanks for the bon bon offerings
~Tinla
Congrats!!! I attended my first SU party - and made my first purchase! - in 1998, and my habit has grown in fits and starts over the years to now, where I stamp at least once a week and often more!
I’m a very new stamper, got introduced by my SIL. What a great website! Thanks for the giveaway.
Happy Canada Day!!! Julia, I thoroughly enjoy visiting you and your blog almost daily now. I always look forward to what you have to share and find it always inspiring….I, myself have only been stamping for 3 years, though I have a background in fine art. Thanks so much for all you that you do and share…..Val
I love your blog just the way it is. I check it first thing every morning! I’ve been stamping for probably 15 years but only consistently for the last 4 or so.
Too wordy? Where did you get that idea?! We love hearing from you - otherwise we wouldn’t be here - : ) I’m use Google reader, so I’ll have to subscribe & unsubscribe, thanks for the option. I appreciate all the inspiration from your posts & gorgeous cards, etc. since I’ve only been stamping about a year.
I already subscribe to your blog with bloglines, so when I unsubscribe to feedblitz please know I still come by and read when you update.
So, I started stamping about 15 years ago. I stamped for about 4 years then sold every stamp and ink pad I owned. 3 years ago I found Stampin Up and have been back into stamping ever since.
I’d like to know, besides Jacksonbelle, what other online store do you like to shop at often?
Congrats on the 100,000 hits!
Melissia
I really like your blog. More information is better - it is nice to have all the details when you need them. I have been stamping for 12 years. Thanks for all of your inspiration!
I love your blog and read all the time… Some days I check it twice like today…LOL
I have been stamping for 14 years… WOW I did not think it had been that long…
reflections:0)
stamping for 12 years. Thanks to my mom. If she realized how much I would be obsessed I wonder if she would have started me in it. LOL! Happy Canada Day!
I have been stamping since about 1992. I go in streaks of what I like or dont like and sometimes even take a break of a few months (especially during the NBA playoffs)
I like wordy, what ever that means. Some post a photo and let it go at that, some write novels. I like both and hope you do too.
Hello there, I’ve been stamping for two years and four months now and I can’t imagine my life without ink.
Smiles,
NG.
I’ve been stamping for a little over 3 years now. I now teach card-making classes at the LSS. and have a blast doing it. It keeps me challenging myself.

Donna G.
I have been stamping for about 18 years, but inbetween I started scrapbooking.
But in last couple of years have been stamping only.
I to remember holding the cards over the electric stove and toaster to emboss.
Boy were my fingers glad when the heat guns came out or at least to our small
town. There weren’t very many stores to buy stamps either, but now wow
your buying is endless and the talent I see on your blog and others is fabulous.
Thank you
Kandi
Awesome blog candy! I love your creations and your blog…keep up the great work! TFS!
Okay here’s my questions ~~~ What made you decide to start a blog? I would love to join in but it seems so time consuming. I work three jobs (well now two since I lost my
full-time job! actively looking so say some prayers I find something soon!) two part-time
jobs SU included.
I have been stamping for 4 years but been collecting stamps for 7 years LOL
Congrats on 100K hits. I became a fan of you on SCS and continue to be inspired by your beautiful art work. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks for sharing and teaching us so much! I appreciate all time and effort in giving of yourself. I’ve been stamping/scrapping for about 8 years.
Happy Canada Day! I hope you have a great weekend. I have been stamping for about 8 years. You are such an inspiration for me. Thanks for that and for the chance to win one of those great gift cards! My mind is racing will all I would want from there, lol!

I been stamping since October 2006. Love this hobby!
Congrats Julia! I just love reading your blog & looking at the beautiful creations! It starts my day (with coffee) with a good feeling, & I’ve used so many of your cards for inspiration. Love your tutorials- They are simple & easy to follow. I’ve probably been stamping about 5 years. My hubby is a basketball coach & is gone a lot, so I love having something to do, & something which might brighten someone’s day. Thank you for the inspiration!

I have been stamping for almost 2 years. I love it! And I love your blog. It’s one of my favorites!!
Hi Julia,
I’ve been stamping about 5 years, and it is the one “hobby” I haven’t tired of at all. Your blog is wonderful. You provide so much information and your art is inspiring. I love “C’est Bon” to learn about new products and how you use them. I’m a technique junky, so I’m always interested in learning new ways to do art. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and talent!
[…] is having a great giveaway celebrating her 100,000 hits! Head on over to her blog HERE and enter to win a gift certificate to Jacksonbelle […]
Love your blog (and your blog candy!). Congrats on the hits. I’ve been stamping for just a year or so. I love your C’est Bon feature and the detailed instructions on how you’ve created your cards. Do you have a french background at all?
I absolutely love your blog. I’ve only been stamping for a couple months, and your blog was really the inspiration for me to get started! And you’re always giving me neat ideas to try something new
I don’t think your posts are too long at all, and I really enjoy reading them! Thanks so much for the very generous giveaway!
Hi Julia,
Congrats on 100K!! I really enjoy your blog. It’s one of the few I’ve subcribed to. I have been stamping for 10 years and a SU! demo for a few years now.
I really enjoy reading your blog every day and I am always inspired by your work. Thanks for all the work you put into it.
Congratulations Julia!!! I enjoy coming to your blog every day (I guess I should subscribe). I have been stamping for 15 years now, but a little over 2 years ago I attended my first Stampin Up workshop and it opened up a new world of creativity for me. I had never thought of how much you can do with stamps! And you have shown us that you can also sew with this craft! WOW!
O0o I am a subscriber already but may I enter into the post one too?
I have been stamping a little under a year and think your posts are the perfect length. Keep em coming!
Suzy
Congratulations Julia!! You’ve got so many hits on your blog because its awesome!! So thankful to have you sharing your amazing talent with us here and on SCS…Thank you!!
I’ve been stamping for 3 years now, and again am so thankful for the inspiration I get from you and many other very talented stampers around here. Have a great weekend!
Hi Julia, I too love your blog and check it out first thing every time I sing on. Your writing is excellent cause you say just what you want without any confusion or lengthy wanderings. I love it! I have been stamping for about four years and just this month was able to get my own stamping room. Hate to see one of your own leave the nest but there is always a blessing somewhere, huh? Thanks for all you share with us!
Hi!! Love the smileys!! I have been buying stamps for about 3 years now. It started right around the time I started scrapbooking. But I have only started using them about maybe 5 months ago, when I took a card making class with TAC rep. She got me started making cards and using my stamps on my scrapbook pages and I havent stopped yet!!! Thank you fro a great blog!
Hi. I have been stamping for 2 years. I went to a Stampin Up night hosted by my daughter with NO intentions of doing another craft or hobby.
Needless to say, here I am!!!
Blog is not too wordy–something to be learned everyday.
thanks
Wow! That’s so many visitors! I subscribed to your blog awhile ago and love reading what you’ve been up to!
I’ve been stamping for about 5 years (??) - did a workshop for a friend who had just become an SU demo.
Thanks for the inspiration!
Congrats on 100K. I check your blog every morning over my first cup of tea … a great way to start my day. Thanks for sharing all you do!
Fabulous blog, Julia. I’ve been officially stamping since 1999 (anything before that was the kind where you stamp an image in the middle of your card front & call it a card - lol). I attended a SU workshop in March (had no idea what I was going to) and I was hooked big time. By July, I had signed up to be a demo… ah, yes… those early years when I really didn’t have a clue. I’m basically a hobby demo with a small customer base and still loving it.
Wow! That’s a whole lotta blogging! Good on you! I’ve been stamping for almost 2 years. I still feel like a novice and spend a lot of time reading blogs and at SCS trying to learn everything there is to know about stamping. Personally I love a wordy blog…
Thanks!
Shawn
AKA Stampingshawn at SCS
Thanks for giving us such wonderful information and art. I love your blog. It’s one of the ones that I check regularly.
Hi Julie - I have been subscribing to your blog for awhile now and LOVE it. I am a fairly new stamper, although I have been a card maker and scrapbooker for about 4 or 5 years now……….always so many new ideas to learn. Thanks for sharing YOUR talent with us!
Hi, Wonderful blog candy. I’ve been stamping for about 10 years and scrapping for about the same amount. The hardest part is finding time to use up my hoard of stuff!
The first thing I do when I sit down at my computer is to go to Lindsey’s, Trudee’s and your blogs. You guys have inspired me to become a better stamper. So do I think you get too wordy? Absolutely not! I count on it!
I started stamping August 26, 2005 and signed up to be a demonstrator August 29, 2005 because the demonstrator I had just met was transferred to another state. I was already hooked and couldn’t bear to not have access to this wonderful new “stuff” I had just discovered.
Now, who’s too wordy!?!
Oh, Julia, I love your blog and all the inspiratin you send our way!! Congrats on your 100,000 hits…you are the best!!I started stamping about 3 years ago. My DD got me hooked when she became a SU Demo. Thanks for sharing your awesome talent!!
I love your blog!! I signed up last week to get email updates, because I truly love to look at all you wonderful creations!! I’ve been stamping for about 4 years and I’m amazed at how much I have learned since then. I remember thinking that I only needed black ink when I first started! I wondered why in the world anyone would want all those different colors!! I’m a dork!
Great cards! Wonderful Tutorials! Alwasy welcomed info. I continue to be amazed at how you bloggers find the time in an ever increasing busy day to post regularly. Look forward to seeing all you have to ofer. Enjoy your Canadian holiday!
Hey, Julia! I have been stamping for approximately 25 years. I live in an itsy bitsy town called Athens, Alabama. When I started, no one even knew what a rubber stamp was and that wa before ebay! I bought stamping magazines and ordered a ton of catalogs out of the back. Ten years ago, Huntsville, Alabama got its first and only stamp store, 45 minutes away. I can drive there blind folded! I am also a stampin’ up! demonstrator so that helps. I am amazed at how wildly popular and mainstream stamping has become! I love your blog and check everyday to see what’s new. You do great work! TFS!
I just love your blog Julia and your cards seriously rock! I’ve been stamping for about 7 years and was hooked the first time I inked up a stamp! Congrats on your 100K hit!
Congrats, Julia on 100K hits! Your blog is awesome–not too wordy, lots of great info. I have been stamping for 3 1/2 years and loving it! I started out as a scrapper & swore that I would never get into stamping! Wrong–love stamping & definitley stamp more that scrap.
I am wondering where your inspiration comes from & how long does it take you to create one of your gorgeous projects?
Julia!
I absolutley LOVE your blog! I check it daily for your beautiful creations. You always inspire me ! Don’t change a thing with your blog!
I am a SU! demo and have been stamping about 4 years now.
Keep up the good work!
Kristin
Wow, Julia, that is a lot of hits, no wonder, though since this is such a great blog. I am subscriber so I find myself here pretty much every day. I love your artwork and get much inspiration from here. Thanks for sharing with us. I have been stamping for about 5 years and I am an SU demo, this is my 4th year.
I love your blog and read it daily. I have been stamping for over 12 years!
I’ve been paper-crafting for about 4 years and am about to jump into some new venues…
I just found your blog and love the ideas and cards you come up with!
Thanks for offering GREAT blog candy!
I’m new to stamping, cardmaking & SCS. Just discovered you through Trudee’s blog. Love your cards & the tutorials will help me immensely!
I think you put so many
in because Jacksonbelle Embellishments makes you so happy!
I’ve been stamping for about 15 years, but am amazed how techniques and embellishments have changed the craft so much!
Love your blog, and appreciate your talent!
Thanks for the chance to win!
(pick me!! pick me!!)
I have been stamping for 5 years. I love stamping and am very inspired by your work. I wouldn’t change a thing about your blog. Thanks!
I have been a stamper since 1980 (off and on in the beginning, but that’s still a long time, huh? Things have really changed a lot since those days. How do you eliminate stamps from your collection? Do you donate, sell, trade, or just keep em all?
Love your blog, I’ve nevered ordered from Jacksonbelle…after all your goodies you show i should. I do not find your posts too wordy at all, love how you tell us the whole process.
Wishing you a very happy Canada day, we are headed to the ocean to throw those crab traps in, definetly need this long weekend! Off to pack my stamping case for the camper, need to get some cards done.
Hugs
Dawn T
Congrats on all those hits! But it’s no surprise, your blog is great. I love the fact you show all the newest products and where to get them too! I’ve been stamping for about 8 years. When I started ,my husband thought this was just another fad hobby and wouldn’t stick with it. Was he wrong! I love to make cards. And i find that stampers are some of the nicest people around.
Thirteen years ago I started stamping! The first thing I saw stamped was the Winter Victorian House by PSX. Stampin UP was selling other companies stamps then! I still have that first stamp!
Pam
Congrats on the 100K! My mom got me into stamping about 3 years ago! She wanted someone to go with her to stamping events, so I tagged along. It’s been fun to share the hobby with her. I found your bog a few months ago and have really enjoyed it!
I’ve been stamping for about 4 years, I think. It started when I was introduced to Stampin’ Up, but thanks to the Splitcoaststampers website, I’ve branched out into a whole variety of stamp companies and accessories.
I love your blog and love that you’re Canadian! So if you mention a product that you’ve tried, I know it’s available to us Canucks!
barb
I so enjoy your beautiful creations. Ive been stamping some for about 5 years when I took a class at Joann’s from a girl who just happened to be a stampin’up demo. As fate would have it I bought a few things from her and made a thinking of you or birthday card as I needed it. This same girl turned me on to SCS, bless her. Then I got my 5 sisters and mother to start buying and one sister became a demo. Now we all make cards and send them to our large extended family for birthdays, weddings, new babies, etc. I think I’d be lost without my stamps and all the inspiration I find on SCS and your blog. Thank you so much for the chance to win some fabulous blog candy! You rock!!
Congratulations on 1000 hits! I can see why it is such a success! I just subscribed a week ago and I look forward to each update in my mailbox! I love your cards, they are very inspiring. Have a great long weekend!
Hi Julia,
Ive been stamping for about 3 years but seriously stamping for about 1.5 LOl , A friend of mine intoduced me to Stampin up and I bought a few things but never used them alot ….THEN I found splitcoast stampers and now Im stampin like crazy!!! Love your blog and all the cool inspiration you share! Keep up the great stuff!!! Judy
Hi Julia….You know me…I’m here all the time.
I have been stampin 10+ years. My first set was Button Bear and I still have him.
I don’t think you’re too wordy at all. My question would be what’s one supply that you use all of the time that you didn’t think you needed at first.
Hi Julia,
I love your blog and do get updates through Google Reader, so I’m gonna’ subscribe with Feedblitz and then unsubscribe…at least you’ll know why! I’ve been stamping for a little more than 4 years. I tried scrapbooking, but I just felt overwhelmed by a blank piece of 12″ x 12″ paper sitting in front of me. I discovered rubberstamping, and the rest is history! I had always been one of those people that went into a Hallmark store and stood for a half hour looking for the ‘right’ card - and often never found it. So it’s been the perfect hobby for me! I love your work and really enjoy your blog! You are amazingly creative and truly an inspiration! Thanks for a chance at some beautiful bonbons!!

What an AMAZING give away!!
I know, I should have been a little more clued in, Let’s call it a Mommy brain moment.

I love your site, I visit often. I didn’t even notcie the feedblitz option until you mentioned it in you post!
Anyway, You wanted to know how long I have been stamping. Well I went to my first Stampin’ Up! party just over three years ago, and I’ve been hooked on stamping ever since. Now I have a room all to myself, and everyone knows, unless it’s an emergency, don’t bug mommy while she’s stamping!
I do have a question for you. Where do you find your greatest source of inspiration comes from?
Hi! I’ve been stamping for about 8 years now! I don’t have any questions! Thank you for such a great blog!
Joella
Great blog candy. I have been stamping for almost 2 years. I love it.
I’ve been a stamper for about a year and I’m definitely hooked!!! I love your site. I’ve been a sewer/quilter for years and am excited about trying sewing on cards. Your tutorial on it was just what I needed to get me started. Thanks for offering such great candy. I’ve been drooling over what they have to offer but haven’t placed an order yet. Time to get busy!!
I have been stamping for about two years off and on. BUT! Since being introduced to Splitcoast Stampers I am obsessed! I feel deprived if I can’t make a card. I get inspiration from everyone’s talent and I love your blog!
Wow, congratulations on 100K hits! Thanks for such a generous drawing. I’ve been stamping for 9 years and I always enjoy seeing what you have to post.
I wouldn’t change a thing in your blogs; they are concisive, easy to understand, and FUN! Love the blog goodies and here’s hoping I win!!
Desi
Hiya Julia!! I’ve been scrappin’ about 6 years and stampin’ about 3. I practically LIVE on SCS and my blog. In fact I slept in this morning and my Mom called and said, “How come you haven’t posted on your blog yet…..you’re gonna get fired!!” Hahaha!! Love your stuff and you totally inspire me!! Mwah!!
Love your blog, read it every day. I am a subscriber, as I could never keep up otherwise with updates otherwise! I have been watching your work for a while, when I first started doing the challenges on SCS. I love your blog just the way it is!
Congrats on 100k hits. Love your blog. I’ve been stamping for about 15 years. Took a break and started scrapbooking, but back to mainly stamping now. Love your blog just as it is. Thank you for sharing with us.
I love everything about your blog. You are not too wordy either. It makes it more interesting. I have been stamping for about 4 years and I have to say, I can’t ever see myself not stamping.
Have a great day.
Hi Julia!
Congratulations on 100K!!!
And thank you for the chance to win a great prize!
I do have a question for you:
do you have, or can you direct me to, a tutorial for “how to tie a flat knot, or a bow, if you are left handed”.
I just can’t get it done with the tutorials that I have seen so far.
Thanks much!
Congratulations on hitting 100,000, I love your blog and have received such inspiration from. Thank you for that.
Even though I haven’t brought my sewing machine up to “my room” yet - I have now been doing a lot of hand sewing on my cards and that is totally thanks to you. And I’ve always loved hand stitching (I’m into cross stitching, canvaswork and hardanger) so maybe I’ll just leave the machine where it is…….hmmmm
Hi Julia -
I’ve been stamping for 2.5 years and can’t get enough. I love your blog - it is eye candy every day and your instructions and tutorials are great!

Have a great weekend and congrats or the success of your blog!
Julia,
I have been stamping for about 2 years now. I love your blog. I can’t say that I would change much but that’s mainly b/c I just found your blog…hehe not that I’m saying I would change anything anyway.
Hi Julia, I read a lot of blogs and I think your is one of the best! I learn so much from your tutorials and write ups about your cards and what you used to make them. My card making has improved so much from reading your blog! I have been stamping almost 3 years now - and I am addicted to it!Congrats on hitting 100,000 hits and thank you for all the inspiration you provide.
Julia–
Congrats on your blog milestone. I have only been stamping for a year but loving every minute of it!!!! I get a lot of inspiration from established stampers like you! So thanks for sharing your talent with us!
Carolyn (Cammie)
Wonderful blog, so full of inspiration. I’d love to know how your store all your embellishments?

Too wordy?? never! The more info the better and when it accompanies a beautiful card creation…the best!
Love your blog just the way it is:)

You are truly an inspiration !! I love your tutorials , I have learned so much here at your blog ! congrats and thanks for the opportunity to win such a nice treat !! I am relatively new to stamping and would like to ask a question regarding using large stamps . Wonderful blog!
Thanks for sharing with us.

Time DOES fly when you’re having fun!
Congrats on your hits.
Leslie Brown
Julia, Hi, I visit your blog quite often & always enjoy your posts so no I don’t think you are to, “wordy” at all. Love your artwork as well.
I’ve been stamping approximately 15-20 years. I got started when a friend sent me a copy of (The Stampers Sampler) magazine and was intrigued by the wonderful cards people were making. Then I met an SU Demo who invited me to a workshop and before I knew it I was signing up. I love stamping and sharing my art with others.
Ida
I have bee stamping about 4 years, but just recently discovered the wonderful world of blogs! I visit your blog daily. TFS with us and helping us grow!
Congrats on your blog visitor number! Well deserved, I don’t have much time to visit blogs, but yours and Trudees are on the top of my short list. I never leave comments, a bit “blog challenged”, hope I did this right!
I began stamping a short 7 months ago and without SCS and the challenges (like yours) I would have never progressed to where I am now and look forward to continuing to grow with you all! Hugs, michelle
I love your blog, and try to visit daily during my blog time. I’ve been stamping for over 13 years. I started when I was planning my wedding and wanted to make my own place cards and accessories. I took a few year break when I had my twins, but got started back up again about 3 years ago.
Congratulations on hitting 100,000! I’m not surprised, you’re blog is awesome; love your tutorials and critiques. Thanks for sharing your love of stamping, creating with all of us, your many fans!
CONGRATS on your blog success! We should be giving you candy w/all the inspiration you share. I’ve been stamping for 5 years & still feel like a beginner.
BLOG ON!!
I’ve been stamping for about a year and a half..and I love it, although I don’t have enough time to do it!! I love browsing your blog to get great ideas for cards, and how to use things I already have, but don’t know what to do with!
I love Jacksonbelle..started shopping there after you talked about it..Congratulations on the hits on your blog..Happy Canada Day!
WOW…100,000 hits! Everyone else obviously loves your blog as much as I do, apparently:) You are in my favorites and I visit you regularly. Your cards are always beautiful, your tutorials are fun, and you sound like such a sincere and NICE person. Kudos to you, Julia, and continued success.
Love your blog - congrats on the hits! I’ve been stamping for about 5 years seriously and a lot more since I started blogging - just love this little “community!” Thanks for the chance to win!
Hi Julia. I’ve been stamping for a little over a year, now. You are definitely not too wordy! Love your blog! Thanks for a chance to win!!
Hi, Julia……….Congrats on hitting the l00k mark……wow, that is absolutely fabulous. I really love your blog…..you are a very talented stamper……your creations are always so beautiful and inspiring.
I have been stamping for about 8 years…..I don’t hold a candle to your work…..but, it is my therapy and I love spending time in my little stamping room.
Keep wowing us with your wonderful ideas!
congratulations on your 100K hits….great blogger, you are! Love your ideas.
I’ve been stamping for 14 years…but only seriously for the last 4. I also find stamping to be my therapy.
Congrats on reaching 100K hits: your blog is on my daily “read” list. I bought my first stamp about 15 years ago but have really been going nuts in the last 5. I work at my LSS to support my habit
My question for you is: What do you think the hottest colors in the upcoming year will be??
Thanks, Julia!
Julia … I come and visit as often as I can! You have such a flair for design and are a great inspiration. Thanks for sharing all your creativity with us!
100K…wow! Congratulations! I started stamping about 8 or 9 years ago using DOTS products and wanting to stamp so I could make my own Xmas cards. I did not get into stamping big time until I started using SU products 3 years ago and my friend leslierich became our demo. Now…. there is no turning back….in fact, I finally broke down and became a demo 2 months ago and I am loving it! Happy Canada Independence Day
Congrats on all those hits. WHOOO HOOO! You know how to celebrate with your readers. Count me in on this fun sweet candy. I’ll have to get my wishlist out. I’ve already on your email list. Thanks for chance.
Congrats on the 100K. Although I have been collecting SU stamp sets for awhile, I haven’t really seriously stamped cards so I consider myself a newbie technique junkie. I’ve experimented and tried all the techniques on SCS; so really, I’m just dabbling. I have a lot of interesting card parts.
How does the new “in thing”/must have, for you, in stamping come to be? For awhile everyone raved about chalk inks, prismacolor pencils, Versa this and that and now, Palette inks and copic markers. If you have all of these in addition to watercolor pencils, crayons, craft ink - how do you display them to really use them as your tools or how do you decide what medium you will use on your creation/ (more than one question) Thanks
I love your work so much, and am so happy that I stumbled on your blog recently. You are such a talented lady. Of course I’m excited that we both live in Southern Ontario (I’m in Sarnia), as most artists are from the U.S. Thanks for offering up blog candy. Guess I’ll be lucky having two opportunities to win; I’m a subscriber. I think I’ll go peak at your candy website.
Wow, congrats on 100K hits! I love your blog! I’ve been stamping for a few years now and am addicted!
WOW! Congrats on the Blog hits..
Holy smokes Batman!
I am already on feedburner and get daily updates so I should be good there.
Happy Canada DAY!
We celebrate our Fourth of July with fireworks tonight :}
Let’s see, I have a million questions for you but let’s stick to one.. here goes.
Help me with shading under my stamped images to give them more depth.. tell me how :}
Pleaseee ……….thanks for the offering and keep on being wordy, keeps it interesting Kim
Congrats and Happy Canada Day! I have been buying stamps for about 5 years now - but only really regularly stamping for the last year or so (funny how that works). Love your blog and all the inspiration it provides! THanks so much.
Hmmm…how long have I been stamping? This will be my 4th Stampin Up catalog, so I would have to say almost 4 years. I love your blog and wouldn’t change a darn thing about it. I love the Take Two challenges especially.
Linda
I have been stamping for about 30 years - hmmm - might be why I have over 7000 stamps! I love you blog - and visit everyday - I don’t think I would change a thing. Di
Julia, these are absolutely beautiful! I visit your blog regularly (as of late, since I’m trying to get back into stamping and you inspire me–thank you). I have more questions than any one person should have…I always wonder how people find their inspiration to create such beautiful work? What companies do you find to have the best pattern paper, colors etc. that you just know will inspire you, how do you decide when enough is enough…
I’ve never participated in a contest like this, but thank you for the opportunity! I hope that you thoroughly enjoyed Canada and celebrated fully!
Kerry

Hi, Julia! Love your work! I have been stamping for almost 5 yeasr. I started as a new mom, and my daughter just turned 5!
Hi. You are an amazing talent!! So glad you blog everyday. I have been stamping for 1 1/2 years. I love creating beautiful things.
Love your blog!! I’ve been stamping about 5 or 6 years (can’t remember exactly, it’s so much fun I can’t keep up!!
Julia, I love your work! You have a great eye for detail! I’ve been stamping off and on for 2 1/2 years now. It’s tough finding time to do it with a little one (11 months) but stamping keeps my mind sharp and my hands out of my mouth!!
I’ve been stamping items for years and years. My Mom and I used to sew dolls, and do folkart painting for craft sales. We decided that we wanted to make some tags for the crafts that we made, so I got some paper and stamps and used to emboss my tags. It sure is easy to emboss now!! When I used to do it years ago, I had to put my paper into an old frying pan (carefully) and would pick up the tag when it had melted with a fork. (If you want to know how many years ago that was…it was probably 12-14 years ago.)
I love your blog, there is nothing that I would change at all!!
You are an inspiriation, and even though I rarely comment, I check it everyday!!
What an awesome and generous blog candy! Well I have been stamping for almost 3 years now and I am sooooo addicted now! Thanks for sharing all your wonderful ideas! I love your creations!
Smiles are a good thing!!! Love your blog Tanya
Congratulations on all the hits! I love your blog and visit often! I’ve been stamping for about 3 years. A friend invited me to her house to stamp… and I’ve been dabbling ever since. My question for you is how you find time to stamp with an active family? And what did you feel was a turning point in your stamping to “career” mode? I guess that’s two questions. LOL! Thanks,
Lisa
Wow- that’s generous. And what an amazing number of hits- but you deserve it. Your blog rocks.
Congratulations on the milestone!
I’ve been stamping for about five years now, but I am pretty new to all these amazing online resources! Thanks so much for your inspiration and generosity…
And happy stamping to all!

Congratulations on hitting 100,00! Your blog is terrific just the way it is. I love your artwork and have been admiring it for quite a while now. I’ve been stamping for almost 10 years now (I can hardly believe it!), but finding SCS a few years ago has really helped me improve and branch out.

Hi Julia!
Thank you so much for the opportunity to win a great prize! I have been stamping for about 5-6 years. Started out very very slow! Slowly getting better. I found SCS about a year ago and have really worked much more on my stamping since then! I really love your blog, you are not too wordy. You give valuable information! I wouldn’t change a thing. Happy Canada day to you! And thank you for the information, I never knew! We will be celebrating on the 4th as you know!
Hi Julia!
Thanks for posting that information about Canada Day…
I’ve been to your lovely country one time; I would love to come back and explore some more
I don’t think your blog is too wordy at all…I throughly enjoy reading it!
Thanks for offering us a chance to win a gift certificate…WOW!
Hi, Julia!
Joyeuse fête du Canada!!!
I’ve always made cards since I can remember…my mother always encouraged (read: forced…cuz that’s the way you see it when you’re a child ;- ) ) me to make cards. I started to seriously get into stamping 3 years ago. I was looking for a better selection of stamps (M’s was too $$ and didn’t cut it) and my friend Tami showed me a Stampin’ Up catalogue and I was so amazed! Then I found SCS and now I’m far too ‘enabled’ hehehe.
When & how did you start stamping, Julia?
And I love your posts the way they are. =)
Cristina
Awesome blog……I’ve only been stamping a few months…..another obsession
Love your blog and have been following for some time but evidently the print has become a lot smaller and I can barely read it!! I have a new monitor and the colors are much lighter which makes it difficult to see but the print on your blog is much much smaller than other blogs. Is it possible to enlarge the print? I have been stamping for four years and love every minute of it! Always buying new stamps, supplies, etc. Can you please, please pick my number? Have a great day.!
Eleanor
Hope your Canada Day was a Happy one! My Sister just got back from Vancouver!
