Simple Saturday…a quick card

I made this card a couple weeks ago. No stamping…just a simpler, more scrapbook style card. Looks much better in person and I love the layout. I loved how the sentiment lined up perfectly over the boxes and that nice clean open space of Caribbean.  I was once again cleaning my desk (LOL) and got distracted by all these lovely little bits on my desk. I’ve decided to keep Saturdays simple on my blog, especially for the summer months. So many things to do with a large family! Also, intricate cards are gorgeous, but I’m appreciating a fresh clean look these days too. Simplicity can be beautiful!

Believe Card

This card originally started out with the two little punched squares. I had made a little book with punched openings and they were sitting as scrap on my desk. They were so cute, I had a hard time throwing them out. Tres Jolie is MUCH too pretty for the wastebasket, no matter how small the size! 🙂 I also had this darling metal sentiment on my desk…a purchase from the dollar store. There were about 5 different sentiments in the package and they are very fun to use. I adhered my sentiment with glue dots and added a little rhinestone to the top of the “i”.I think this would make a great encouragement card or even for someone starting a new phase in their life… Believe…in your self.
