Do You Like Primas?
Do you like Primas? I do! LOL I’m SURE you’ve noticed. Especially my favorite new Prima Essentials Lucid Collection! I just adore the fresh colors…perfect for spring! I thought with reaching 40,000 hits, it was time for some more fun. I’d like to share my goodies with one of my readers. A fave paper company is hard to choose. But I really like Crate, Basic Grey, and Chatterbox. But all of the companies have such pretty things!

I do like primas even though I only have one little bottle that my baby dropped they other day and shattered. I rescued the flowers.
I don’t really have a favorite paper company, I just buy every once in awhile when it strikes my fancy.

my favorite dp is basic grey, especially their blush and lily kate line.
My favorite paper co hands down is basic grey.
But I’m also loving crate paper and cosmo cricket - I love the distressed aged paper look.
I love Primas but I admit I love them displayed in their little glass bottles. I tried to use them more, but sometime have a little trouble….

Oh I do like primas! I love seeing what everyone has done w/ them; but alas, I have none of my own. I have been too afraid to buy them fearing I could not do them justice. *sigh* Fav. paper company would either be Basic Gray or Wild Asparagus. Love the aged look and the heavier weight some companies have.

I haven’t used alot of patterned paper. I do like Basic Grey. I have picked up a couple sheets of those from our LSS. Of course, I love SU patterned paper. Those two I guess are my favs.

Favorite paper? Hmmm….Basic Grey, My Mind’s Eye always has great stuff…Scenic Route, I’ve recently fallen in love with the Glitter Stacks from DCWV, Wild Asparagus, Rusty Pickle…SU! has great designer paper and they keep getting better….Daisy D’s….I’m a bit of a paper junkie….does it show?
I have to admit, for now, my favorite paper company stays true with Stampin’ Up! I love how their paper coordinates so well with my stamps.

um who DOSENT love Primas?? my name is chelsey and i have a prima flower addiction (lol) ummmm, my favorite paper company? I love Basic Greys stuff but like MME., Cosmo Cricket and SU’s polka dots and paisley paper (so cute). now i would choose SU in the cardstock catagory hands down.

I have never really had a favorite paper company and have always bought whatever catches my eye. Lately though I find myself drawn to the Basic Grey line as so many bloggers have created such wonderful cards & projects with it. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.

Right now my favorites are Basic Grey, Paper Salon, and Crate Paper. I just ordered some Paper Salon & Crate Paper, and I CAN’T wait to get them!

Primas are a new addiction of mine - what great blog candy! My favorite paper line has to be Basic Grey. Their colors are earthy with a great rustic quality. And they keep coming out with more styles and I just keep buying more - can you tell I have a paper addiction too?

I do love primas, although I’m not very creative with them. I have an unused jar right now…isn’t that awful! My favorite paper company is Basic Gray because their papers look distressed and I love that look!

These papers look yummy!! And who does’nt love Primas?? I don’t really have a favorite…just whatever peaks my interest at the time. There are just SO many yummy papers out there to choose from, really.
Well I think at the moment I am in love with Basic Grey, it is a lot more difficult to get some of the gorgeous papers you all get in States cause we have to rely on the internet mostly and you can never see them properly boohoo!!!
I really like Chatterbox paper.. but usually buy whatever catches my eye. Primas and I have a love/hate relationship. I love how other people use them, hate my projects when I use them. Guess I just need to spend more time with them.
My favorite paper is S.U.’s designer paper. Yet I love alot of the papers I see out there in the blog world.
I would have to say that my favorite paper company is Basic Grey, I love it! The colors and designs are so much fun, whats not to like. I also love the SU designer paper and cosmo cricket…such fun papers!
Very cool candy!! Love everything! I have recently branched out to other companies and have come to love Basic Grey as well as some Chatterbox lines. I just got some really pretty paper from I think Bo Bunny?? And I love Primas! I still love SU!’s DP though too - they’ve done some great one lately!

I am pretty much a Stampin’ Up! paper gal, (being a demo and all.) I don’t have much experience with designer paper since I have struggled to incorporate designer papers with my stamping. I have purchased some SU, but still haven’t used it much. Because of you and Cindy B. (http://stampalicious.typepad.com/) I have ordered some Basic Grey and PLAN on using it after it arrives! Hopefully your talent will have rubbed off as much as the inspiration I have received reading your blog!

I love primas but am not always great at knowing how/where to use them. My all-time fave paper is probably BGrey but currently I’m also loving My Mind’s Eye “Tres Jolie”. I just ordered soe Fancy Pants paper and also love Crate and Cosmo Cricket. Whew…I guess I love it all!

Basic Grey has some amazing papers out, but more and more I am seeing other companies making some cool papers. There is literally way too much to choose from these days!
So far, I like Basic Grey. I’m new and not too familiar with all of the choices yet though.
I like Basic Grey but do buy a large assortment from other paper companies. I am getting hooked on the Primas–all sizes and colors! Congratulations on 40,000 hits!
I would have to say that Basic Grey is my favorite right now. Sometimes I think that Blush is my fave and then I see a card with Dasher paper and I am in love all over again!
My favorite paper is the Bazzil paper line. Even though I love all of the printed papers, double sided, etc, with a solid paper, a stamp, and ink, you can always make a print.
I have always LOVED paper…….I am always searching for new, interesting designs and color combos. I am presently using the various lines of Basic Grey…….there are many beautiful patterns and colors! I can’t wait to get my hands on some of the new Cosmo Cricket …….and I am impatiently waiting for my Au Chocolat from SU.
I love Primas. However, I spend a lot of time looking at them instead of using them! I love SU! paper and Basic Grey.

I don’t have very many primas….this is great blog candy! I like Karen Foster paper. The colors and graphics fit my style (I usually choose paper by how it looks without noting the company or designer, and repeatedly I pick more Karen Foster designs than anything else.

I don’t know that I could choose just one company. I just prowl the aisles of my local stores and pick up whatever looks good. Overall, I’d have to choose Stampin’ Up’s papers simply because I have the cardstock to match!
I have really been loving SU’s paper in their spring catalog.

I really don’t use decorative papers as much as I should, but those that I do use are typically Stampin’ Up, especially the new Petals & Paisley set! I need to branch out more and try some new ones.
I couldn’t even begin to decide which is my favourite. I have some Daisy D’s bohemian type paper that I just love. I take it out from time to time just to look at it. I think if I had to choose a favourite paper, I would say my Japanese papers that I got at a specialty paper store. They are very soft and richly coloured with gold accents. They are like a kimono on paper. They are really stunning. I don’t know who makes them, and I could only bring myself to shell out for three sheets, but they are gorgeous.

I have not used Primas yet. It is one of my goals when I retire in August. I am also just discovering the ebay stores with all their papers (bad news for the purse!). I love any paper. No particular company. I buy what attracts me *big grin*!
My favorite paper has to be Basic Grey. I love the shabby, vintage look of it! I also love the Doodle This and Doodle That set from SU! So fun and cheery! Great blog candy!
Love Primas too and use them a lot. I love Basic Red! My favorites are Stella Ruby and Scarlet’s Letter. Even though my art is mainly vintage I love this paper and so far it works with vintage!
For the first time ever I purchased 4 Basic Grey 6×6 tablets and I’m LOVING them!!! Amazing how quick it can help you zip a card together!!

Besides my SU! stuff, which I love because it coordinates with my inks etc. I’ve been buying way too much paper! I’m partial right now to Basic Grey. I love the Blush and LilyKate line. I just bought them both in the 6″ x 6″ pads….beautiful!!

I gotta say that the new Stella Ruby tipped the scales for me toward Basic Grey. Coming up at a close second and third would be My Mind’s Eye papers and then Daisy D’s! I really love the convienence of the smaller stacks that they are coming out with now… Basic Grey’s 6 x 6 stacks, and DCWV (Die Cuts with a View) mat stacks are great for card makers (I love the textured Old World collection!)

Favorite paper company… Hmmm…. Aside from SU, I’d have to say that I *LOVE* Crate Paper! I first discovered it on Cindy’s store, StarlitStudio. It’s different from any other patterned paper I’ve ever seen! I also like Basic Grey, and My Mind’s Eye. Oh, and I recently got some Flair Designs paper from their “What’s Cooking” line that’s really cool too.

Do I love Primas? I think that goes without saying! ABSOLUTLY! They are functional and pretty to look at just in it’s own packaging. I have even thought of using them for “confetti” on a table to beautify it up for a party! Gorgeous! As far as a paper company? Well, I like Basic Grey and American Crafts for its thickness, double sided function, and its pretty cool designs-especially if you are looking for funky and retro! However, if you were to ask my DH, he would say a piece of white paper out of the printer would suffice after stamping it with whatever image! He loves my creativity, but I think it should stop at that…don’t you think? LOL

I love the papers from Basic Grey, but I hate having to use the papers, because they are so wonderful! I also love Primas, though I have no idea how to use them.
My favourtie paper company is Basic Grey. I love the feel and weight of their papers.
I also LOVE that they come in smaller sizes too with a reduced pattern for cardmakers.

I’m a big fan of Primas!!! My favorite patterned paper right now is Crate, I think. I really fell in love with the Birdie collection and since then have been drooling over all the other collections they’ve come out with recently.
I like paper that shimmers-like the special ones that came out at Easter and St Patty’s day by Reminisce. I also love the K I memories shimmery ones. ANd Heidi Swapp or Snapp-that Heidi woman
I think I just like paper-but if it shimmers, its even better. Ooh forgot the Bling from Bazzill too.

Love that Basic Grey! It is really hard to pick a fav when you are in a scrapbooking store — all so pretty these days but Basic Grey is a great weight! I decoupage with that one the most and, of course, it goes on lots of cards. Love ALL primas — too many to pick from! Congratulations on reaching 40K.
My all time favourite paper seems to change regularly, but at the moment I am loving Crate paper avenue and twirl.

No surprise on the 40K hits, I’ve probably looked at your cards at least that many times myself. I like primas, but don’t seem to use them as much as I could. I have used them more in scrapbooking than cards. I can almost say “I never met a paper that I did not love.” There is the perfect use for them all. But I simply love Basic Grey and the Stampin Up new Chocolate collection. Congrats again! linda

That’s a tough question, but I would have to say Chatterbox papers are my favourite.
I only have the small Primas but love them. My favorite company would have to be doodlebug. I have grandkids and love the paper and jellishments to do cute things with. Love your blog!!!
Of course I love Primas…large, small, I love them all! Can one every have enough? My favorite paper company is any company that makes papers that I can’t resist buying…naturally that changes each time I walk into a scrapbook store!
I love double-sided designer paper. My favorite is American Crafts.
Right now my favorites are My Mind’s Eye and Crate Paper. There are so many great ones to choose from, it’s hard to pick. Congratulations on your 40,000 hits! I love your blog!

Hi Julia! I’m another Basic Grey fanatic; I really love the Blush line and the Lilykate; I’m usually a little behind the times so the new ones are just starting to grow on me! I also like Wild Asparagus and Scrapbook Walls.

So many to choose from! My latest love is Basic Grey..
That’s not an easy question to answer! Up until recently most of the papers I used were from StampinUp, but I have really fallen in love with the Basic Grey lines. Haven’t gotten any Primas yet though!! Would love to own some!!!
I finally opened my lonely little bottle of Primas yesterday and used them for the first time. I need more! I don’t have a favorite paper company; I just buy a sheet here and there as it catches my eye.

I really love Primas and all the beautiful papers that are available. I think my favorites right now is Basic Gray and, of course, Stampin Up Designer series. I always enjoyed you card creations on Splitcoast and am glad to find your blog.
OHH OHH pick me, pick me, lol! I love primas. Actually just bought my first 3 bottles. I am so excited now I need to find time to play. As far as paper companies there are soooo many wonderful new papers out right now I don’t think I could pick on company but I am pretty excited about the new glitterstacks! I love the primas but have not bought any yet. I love all kinds of paper but dont have any specific company that I pick from. I just look at all the papers and pick whatever I like.
My favorite so far is DCWV glitter paper packs. I just love glitter. I have primas but don’t use them as much ’cause I can’t seem to do them justice. They look fantastic when I case some cards that have the primas. I’m learning so much and having a great time. But, I must confess, I don’t stick to just one paper company, I just buy, buy, and buy when I see something I just can’t live without. I have tons of paper I can’t seem to use because I love it so much. I enjoy just looking at my collection. L.O.L.

My very very favorite paper is Basic Grey. Every new pattern is better than the last!! Perhaps!!
I would like to add my favorites here, I love SU designer paper, I have only recently started using it…. I resisted spending money on something I wasn’t sure I would use…boy was I wrong. I also like Rusy Pickle and Wild Asparagus. I am branching out beyond S”U and loving the experience.

Hmmmm….with so many yummy papers out there, it’s hard to choose! I’ve been loving Cosmo Cricket’s new stuff as of late, but am a Basic Grey girl at heart (I WISH they would make their papers double sided though!!)

I have to say Basic Grey is one of my favorite papers - I can always find a design I like - a close second is a new line Tinkering Ink. PS - I love look at your blog every day.
My favorite paper company is either Basic Grey (love the Romani line) or Crate Paper. The designs are so rich…I’d just like to hang them on my wall!!

My favorite paper is Chatterbox, but for some reason I have a hard time using it…I am drawn to the earthy colors, but when I scrapbook (and make cards I’m finding) I tend to use the brighter colors…no idea why I work that way, lol. Thanks for the opportunity!
LOVE LOVE Prima’s…but can never come up with enough nerve to use them. Have them all in little jars on my desk. Sad right?
As for my favorite paper company? LOVE CHATTERBOX. Can’t get enough of it. But once again…I end up collecting it instead of using it.
Do I have to narrow it down to one paper company? LOL I do use alot of Chatterbox paper, but I love the Bazzill bling, and I thinkI would love the Blush paper–if I could only get it in my town.

I love Basic Grey, but have been dying to have some of the new paper from Fancy Pants. Don’t have any yet…but it’s definitely on my (long) wish list!
I seldom buy patterned paper because I am always at a loss as to what to do with it when I get it home. The paper I most often sucumb to is Basic Grey….
i have about 1000 pieces of basic grey CS, so that is my most obvious favourite! (i found that out when i organized my paper by brand) I am really starting to love the new lines from american crafts, however. The clean lines, crisp, bold colours really appeal to me!
My favorite cardstock & designer paper is Stampin’Up. I haven’t used any other. Until I started reading all the blogs out there, I have to be honest, I really didn’t know of any other company or source for cardstock let alone designer papers.
I know, I know, how could I not know, but I truly haven’t been doing this for as long as everybody else who is more knowledgeable.
I can’t pick a favorite! I love the cardstock from Stamipin’ Up! and just use whatever designer paper I happen to like when I’m shopping!

If I had to choose one, single, lonely favorite it would be Basic Grey. I love the distressed and funky feel to all of their designs. The paper is so thick and decadent that I can’t stop buying it. Luckily I don’t have a problem cutting into it. It’s too nice to hide and my mission is to share it with the world.
I also like DCWV, Daisy D’s and Scenic Route papers. The styles are all so different and each has a special place in my life!
Of course, I’m just as addicted to primas!
Well, first of all yes I love primas but they are kinda pricey so I don’t have too many. There are so many paper lines to love….I am actually really enjoying the Kelly Panaci line from SandyLion and the new large EK Success papers that are wonderful for covering journals. Of course I also love all the favorites of Basic Grey, Crate, and Chatterbox. Congrats on 40,000 - that is a lot of hits.

I don’t know if I have a favorite paper company–so many have fantastic designs. I do love Basic Grey, largely because of the fabulous 6×6 paper pads, which come in such a wonderful variety. I also like many of the Wild Asparagus papers. Mostly, I like to go to my LSS and wander among the aisles, reveling in the colors and designs.

I love any paper that is thicker than normal patterned paper these days like Basic Grey and some of SU’s! I wish more companies would do that! Love your blog and I know you couldn’t possibly have hit 40,000 this soon without me lurking around a lot! Ha ha! Congrats and keep up the good work!

I do not have a favorite paper company…mostly b/c I have a bunch of UGLY paper “stacks” that I bought 7 years ago that I feel like I have to use…at least a bit before splurging on more. But after reading all these company names…I’m going to have to investigate.

Right now, my favorite is The Glitter Stack cardstock…sigh… I’m in love. The retro designs and colors are perfect for spring and summer. Although my Basicgrey urban still speaks to me.
I have no primas and only admire from afar. Maybe its because I made all my flowers for my wedding in the early 80s when I took a package of silk petals and made each individual flower. The petals look exactly like the thousands of petal packages I purchased way back then. But, they look SO pretty now on cards and I am SO tempted…

I love primas. I think my favorite paper line right now is Basic Grey and Crate Papers. It is hard to choose just one …. I mean Cosmo Cricket and Paper Salon also jump into my head.
I love primas too! I’m a big fan of the K & Co K-Ology line of papers (partially because I can find them locally)! Check out K-Ology Verbana, Hannah and Addison - super cute!

Favorite papers? 3 immediately come to mind…Basicgrey, Cosmo Cricket and Fancy Pants. Those are the ones I use the most when using bg’s. I have a lot of primas too, but they are mostly the same size. I could use a variety, but since I have so many I refrain from buying more. This is my first comment on a blog, so let me say this, I love yours. It’s very informative and fresh. Thanks for sharing your wealth of skill and creativity.

I love Prima’s!!
My most recent fave paper is the 6×6 Basic Grey packs, especially Blush, though I have been using the Romani alot too. Other faves include Chatterbox, Rob and Bob (by Provo Craft, I think), K & Co., and some of SU’s of course. I love alot of what I see done with Crate paper too, but I haven’t yet invested in it myself.
