Right now my favorite tool is my paper piercer. And I love brads and ribbons.

Please e-mail me Julie with your full name and address! Thanks!

I didn’t have time to count them all…but to me it looked like the paper piercer is one of the top faves of papercrafters right now! It ranked way high up there! A close second would be the Crop-a-dile by We R Memory Keepers! LOL I have been on a “personal crusade”;) to enable you all to get one since I bought mine months ago! LOVE it! As for embellishments….ribbon has GOT to be the all-time fave for a long time! I actually forgot about ribbon…I have no idea how!!!…I own enough of it! I agree…ribbon is a timeless, inexpensive, wonderful embellishment! Prima flowers and bling get honorable mention. Thanks to everyone for all the comments and for visiting my blog!

Party Dogs

Published by Julia Stainton under Card Designs

I made this fun little card yesterday. I came across some darling little My Favorite Things stamps I had and noticed the little dress just matched a scrap of MME paper that I had on my desk. How fun! So of course, I just had to make something. I love the fun look of these party dogs ….the set is called “Let’s take a Walk” and it can be purchased here. The set is made from clear acylic and it is so easy to use!

The imge was stamped with black ink and then watercolored with my SU inks, pressed into the lid of the inkpad. The black striped ribbon is by May Arts and I bought mine from Sweet Miss Daisy. The brown flower is from the gorgeous Prima Essentials Romance collection and was purchased from Jacksonbelle. The bottom of the card is stitched on my sewing machine for a little added interest and the sentiment is from the same My Favorite Things set and is embossed with black embossing powder.

Hope you are having a fabulous day!
