Belle Bonbons
I’ve been having some fun with the Shabby Princess digital kits. If you’ve ever wanted to have a little digital fun…they have some very cool free downloads there for you to play around with and enjoy! They even have a great tutorial link! I decided to give it a little whirl by designing this little blog treat picture as, you guessed it, I want to share another little blog treat with you. I decided to call them…Belle Bonbons…to tie in with my blog title. Bonbons means…I’m sure you know…candy in French. So instead of Blog Candy, Belle Bonbons. I’ll be using this little “banner” again in the future or maybe a variation of it so you’ll know what to look for.
I just wanted to share with you a couple of my fave new goodies! Don’t worry! I ordered two of each because there would be NO way I’m giving these babies up otherwise! I’ve been having the most fabulous time with Basic Grey chipboard over the past few months. When I saw these chipboard elements…I “made” Lindsey order me some in. Some days, I’m not quite sure who is the worse enabler! The new release we’ve all been waiting for is finally here as well! The Basic Grey Round Precision File Set is perfect for reaching into those tight corners of chipboard. If you use chipboard…I know you want it!
Check it out in Jacksonbelle’s store here.
Sooooooooooooo…………… how can you enter? Comment on this thread and let me know what your favorite papercrafting tool is. My favorite is the Crop-a-dile with quite a few others coming in a close second. My fave embellishment has got to be those Prima flowers! SO pretty! You have until 8pm EST on Saturday April 7th to comment. One lucky person will be chosen by an on-line random number generator and I will post the results on my blog shortly after.

My fav embellishment is ribbon I think…it is relatively cheap, comes in lots of great textures and determines my color palette a lot of the time! My fav tool is my piercer (in my case, a simple tack!)…I know, I know, I gotta stop being so cheap!
*waving* my fav is also the COD!!! altho mine is still acting up . . . and a few other tools. I have only been stamping and crafting since January so I still learning lots of things and still getting enabled over at SCS! lol my fav embellishment is ummmmm eyelets and brads and using my COD to set them! lol ok so they are tied with Prima flowers . . .lol I use both ALOT ! the blog candy you are offering I have never heard of . . . would LOVE to try them out! *giggle*
Tina
My favorite embellishment right now is ribbon and flowers are a close second.
Claudia F.
I would have to say that my fave tool is the crop-a-dile followed closely by my SU rubber scissors…I mean it’s the only thing that does that job well. Fave embellishment would be ribbon…when I have the right match of course.
Thanks
~Melissa
My favorite tool right now is my Wild Wire Writing System that allows me to create my favorite embellishments: metal words! Thanks!
Cheryl KVD
my favorite tools are my paper punches. They are easy to use and fast and they use up your scraps! my favorite embellishment is ribbon!
-michelle m
My favorite tool is also the crop-a-dile! Ribbon is my favorite embellishment. I have so much of it and it is the first thing I look at when I go to Michaels and Hobby Lobby!! They say it is a sickness!!!!
Ellie
Love the chipboard bonbon’s & your new banner. My favorite tool would have to be my Scotch ATG gun. I use it all the time. I have a Crop-i-dile but haven’t had a chance to play with it yet. (How sad is that). My favorite embellishment would have to be ribbon followed closely by Prima flowers. Thanks for sharing.
Oooohhh … great bonbons!
My favorite tool would have to be my Marvy punches. Can’t live without those!
My favorite tool must be the Creative Memories cutting system. I have very good luck with it and use it for both cards and scrapbooking. thanks for the blog candy.
Cheryl

Jackie

Heather
Belle Bon-bons — very cute, Julia, I like it (and great goodies, too)! I think my favorite papercrafting tool at the moment is probably a paper piercing tool — I use it on everything!
My favorite, and most often used, tool are my Stampin’ Up papersnips. I like to cut things out and their sharp, tiny blades are perfect for it. My favorite embellishment is ribbon! Thanks for sharing with us!
I love my punches and reach for them oftem. Lately I have had tons of ribbons call my name especially if they have dots, spots or stitches of different colors!
My favorite tool is my cuttlebug! I love that thing and it doesn’t ever leave my stamping table! I got it for Christmas and it just stays by my side! Cute lil thing!
I like your blog it is fun to come see what you are up to next. Thank you for sharing.
Lesa
Belle bonbons! Love it! You are the queen of the bon mot
My favourite tool. Hmm. I think it would have to be my Stamp-a-majig. Using it has vastly improved my finished product. Favourite embellishment - brads. I love them all - big, small, coloured, plain, shapes, etc.
My favorite tool is also my crop-a-dial, especially since I have been playing with it and the coassters. My favorite embellishment is my stickles…..love sparkle. Great blog candy, looks like fun!
Favorite tool? Wow. I have a lot of those. If I have to pick the one that I use the most, it’s probably my bone folder. It’s so simple, but I use it for everything. The bone folder is the gadget that mushes my paper down onto the wet glue and smoothes it flat. My bone folder is the thing that gives me really crisp edges. I’ve even used it to pry my gas tank cap open when the fuel door latch broke! Pretty stinkin’ handy. (There are plenty of other favorites tools… let me know when y’all are ready for the super long list of seconds….)
Favorite embellishment is easy — glitter. I love glitter. Perhaps I watched too much Martha last year, but it does give just the right amount of sparkle to everything. I’ve used it as a highlight, as snow, as sand, as Margarita salt — the list goes on and on.
My this is a long comment. Aren’t you sorry that you asked now? (If I win, will you do a tutorial on all the fun stuff you do with chipboard?)
Hi girl! Fun, Belle’s Bonbons! Yummy! I love blog candy! Anyways, I think my favorite papercrafting tool is probably the Cuttlebug right now. I love what it does and how it can take your card from tired and boring to Yowza! My favorite embellishment is ribbon. Can’t live without it!
Amy
My favorite right now would have to be the Cuttlebug, although my stamping life would be miserable without my Stamp-a-ma-Jig since I mainly use wood mounted stamps!
You probably didn’t mean to do this, but when I first saw your banner, I wanted to cry because it is so beautiful!
Anyway, I would love to win your candy!
My favorite tool must be the Cuttlebug….and my favorite embellishment is ribbon, for sure!
My favorite tool is my most used tool which is my Dahle paper trimmer. It cuts the thinnest shaving off the edge of a paper without tearing it like a Fiskars trimmer would. My favorite embellishment is brads.

Rebecca

My favorite (at this moment) is the Cuttlebug with its embossing folders. It makes it so easy to get a great background on a card! My favorite embellishment, hmmm I like so many, but I can never resist picking up some more Prima flowers. Now if I can only stop hording them and actually use them!
Hi! My favorite tool is my paper piercer and the guide! I seem to be piercing everything! If it ain’t tied down I’ma piercing it… YIKES!!

Ummm I don’t think I have any “Tools”, but I do love using the sewing machine on my cards, if that counts!!! For favourite embellishments, I love using lots of ribbon!
I have few favorite tools! Would have to say my SU tabletop cutter is right at the top followed by my Crop-a-dile and then the paper piercing tool!
Favourite embellishment is ribbon, favourite tool is the crop a dile!
Oooh I don’t know cause I have a lot that i like, I think it would have to be my X-cut guillotines, I have the 12″ and the 8½” now as well, and I love them, a close second is prob my Big Shot, I don’t own a crop-a-dile but think I might have to get one and like the look of the Bind-it-all as well, very nice bon-bons by the way he he he

Beth (mommy to a busy 3 1/2 year old)
My favorite tool is a stipple brush. I use it on most of my cards. My favorite embellishment would be Stickles…is that an embellishment? At my house it is. Thanks for such a wonderful blog.
Oh I’m with you, I LOVE those prima flowers - so many colors; so many sizes. WHEE….(that’s my “I’m giddy” sound) LOL

Hi Julia,
Paper piercer for sure. Ribbon is my favorite embellishment with a close second of designer paper.
Thanks in advance for the bonbons!
frannyb
I guess the one I’m using most lately is the stamp-a-ma-jig. I love the Cuttlebug though! Thanks for a chance at the bonbons!
My joys are simple. (I say that because my stamping funds are limited.) So, my favorite tool is my clear quilting block ruler…lots of demarkations for lining up and cutting . Favorite embellishment is all of the wonderful ribbon available.
I would definitely have to say my paper cutter, but I am lovin my new Crop-a-dile too…just discovered chipboard myself! And yes Primas are very addictive too…love all the new ones I am seeing on the blogs lately…very pretty!
My fav tool is also my Cropadile. How I got by without it all these years, I don’t know. And as far as embellishments ribbon these days is to die for. SO many patterns and colors. Remember when we searched high and low for a gingham ribbon? Not any more!
My Cuttlebug. Love the dry embossed look with out all the work. Thanks so much for the inspiration!! Have a great day. Sue
I would be desperate if you took away my paper cutter or my stamp-a-ma-jig, but I just can’t bring myself to say they are my favorite. I think my favorites are the tools that let me so easily add that little something extra — maybe my punches and my paper piercer…
My favorite tools are my punches….any and all of them!
Lynda
My favorite tools are my punches…..any and all of them!
Lynda
Right now, my favourite tool is the Crop-a-dile!
I do also love the paper piercer kit from SU….man, there are just too many favourites.
Hi Julia,
I love the Belle Bonbons - and what a great name for them! My favorite papercrafting tool would have to be my paper cutter. It’s the one tool I absolutely couldn’t live without.
Megan
I have so many favourite tools, it’s so hard to choose one, but the Crop-a-Dile and all my puches are certainly my most favourite right now!
I, too, love my crop-a-dile but I’m also diggin’ my Scor It - I’ve been learning to do things besides just make a fold!! It’s great!
My favorite tool is my Japenese screw punch so I can put a hole in anything- card, chipboard, center of a 12×12 etc.
My favourite tool has got to me my ATG adhesive gun. I swear it’s attached to my hand at all times!
My favourite embellishment is ribbon - BTW the ATG is perfect for gluing down ribbon! See what I mean? I can’t work without it and can’t talk about stamping without mentioning it - no more embarassing pieces popping off for me!
Currently my favorite is my coluzzle. I know it is not a new tool, but new to me and I can’t fiqure out how I managed without it for the past 6 yrs!!!

I just found your site today…and WOW! am I glad I did! Your cards are gorgeous!
I had a hard time choosing a favorite tool..but I think it would have to be punches (I know that’s more than one technically). I’m sure it will change as the weather does…
My favorite embellishment is somewhat boring in iteslf but I use them on almost every creation…and that would be brads.
Thanks!
Laurie a.k.a. Lauraly
My favorite tool is the Making Memories hole piercer–I use it all the time for faux stitching, placing a brad, etc.
My fav embellishment is a “tie” (hehe) between ribbon and ink for distressing.
Thanks for posting–this was FUN.
Wow, Fabulous treats! My favorite tool, actually I think it’s boring, but I love my paper cutter!!! I am such a perfectionist about straight cut paper that when SU came out with their big cutter I immediately bought it, and love it!!! I hated that Fiskars cutter - never got a straight cut!
Thanks for the chance to win!
My absolute favorite tool right now is the paper piercer. I love doodling with it.
My favorite tool is definitely the paper piercer. My favorite embellishment is of course ribbon!
Just started making cards so I would have to say my favorite tool is the Creative Memories cutting system. My favorite embellishment is definity ribbon.A girl can never have enough.

hmm. I am always trying and finding new things for tools and embellishments. My favorite embellishment is for scrapbooking- Little Black Dress Unbuttons. They are in different shapes and colors, but you can stamp on them, distress them, anything you want so they can match with anything you make. Very neat! I am still a bit of a newbie to papercrafts, so my favorite tool is the crafter tool kit. I love piercing, but I still need practice to keep it straight!
Right now my favorite tool is my paper piercer. And I love brads and ribbons.
Favorite tool? Ummmm… how do I pick? Crop-a-dile is right up there, but the most USED is my sponges. Love brads, especially all those fun ones which I’m too cheap to buy.

Just ONE tool??? Oh I am in trouble! I just saw one of those file systems today actually that is funny you are talking about it now. My ONE tool is the cuttlebug. I love it. A close second is the crop-a-dile. Fav embellies include primas and chipboard.

Mmmmm, bonbons! Great new banner for the treats! My favorite tool is a tie between punches and the cuttlebug. Fave embellishment is ribbon!
Kim
I love my punches! I really don’t like cutting things out so I use my punches all the time.
As for my favorite embellishment I’d have to say ribbon. I do very few cards without ribbon!
It would be the paper piercing template… if I owned that.
My favorite tool would have to be my embossing heat gun. I love it! I emboss nearly every card. As for embellishment favorite, I guess it would be ribbon, followed closely by brads. It’s been fun to see everyones’ favs! I hadn’t even heard about those files - I bet they are neat!
Fave tool? That’s a tough one - there are so many! I guess I’d have to say my Marvy mega oval and giga scallop oval punches! I use them more than anything else Ithink!

These look wonderful, Julia! This is the first comment I’ve ever posted on a blog, but it’s fitting as you are one of my favorite stampers of all time!
Let’s see, my favorite tool is my heat gun, I probably emboss 90% of my cards. My favorite embellishment has to be glitter of some sort or another-you can never have too much sparkle!
Have a blessed Easter!
I think I really really need those files,.. favorite tool is my punches (this month) and my fav embleshments are anything that glitters,,,
Linda
My favorite tool is my Making Memories Edge distressor. I find it almost impossible to make a card without distressing the edges of something! My fave embellisment is prima flowers but I hoard them terribly!
